Romina Barrera Enciso is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist and designer, graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Her work spans mixed media, ceramics, and sculpture, weaving tactile explorations of memory, cultural tradition, and familial bonds. Drawing from her background in industrial design, Barrera Enciso deconstructs personal and collective narratives, reassembling them into evocative forms that balance functional resonance with poetic abstraction.

Rooted in traditional craftsmanship across cultures, her practice transforms clay, found materials, and sculptural elements into vessels of nostalgia—bridging the intimate and the universal. Each piece becomes an archive of inherited techniques and an invitation to reimagine belonging, embedding fragments of her evolving story into textures, layers, and gestures. Through this interplay of mediums, she honors the past while shaping new languages of connection.
