The Añoro Series explores the physical representation of the people and memories I long for.

Añoro II represents my longing for my maternal grandmother. The vessel is imbued with her by using lemongrass grown from my garden as she did hers, and my own hair as a representation of the long braid and her soothing gentle presence.
